Pre-drench the garden
Grass, plants and shrubs are soaked with fresh water before and during the treatment so they don't take up the biocide.
Apply at low pressure
The biocide goes onto render, K-Rend, cladding or painted plaster with no mechanical force on the surface.

Surrounding areas are rinsed afterwards. Once the surface is dry it is safe for children and pets.

Why softwash instead of power washing?
High pressure can strip coatings, force water behind slates and gouge render like K-Rend. Softwashing uses low pressure with Benz Softwash biocides to kill algae and moss at the root, so it cleans deeper with no damage.
How long do the results last?
Usually two to four times longer than a power wash, because the spores are killed rather than moved around. Render usually stays clear for 2 to 4 years, and a full roof softwash comes with the written 3-year moss-free guarantee.
How soon will I see a difference?
Red and green algae on render dissolves almost straight away. Heavy moss and black lichen on a roof die on contact, turn white or brown and wash off with the rain over the following weeks.
