From a scaffold tower, not your slates
The crew works from mobile scaffold towers with long-reach poles and scrapers. If the roof itself has to be touched, it is done with roof ladders and harnesses to spread the weight.
Softwash, not a power washer
High pressure strips the factory seal off tiles, breaks slate corners and drives water under the lining. Softwashing uses low pressure and a Benz biocide that kills growth at the microscopic root.
Gardens and gutters protected
Downpipes are disconnected or diverted during the treatment, and grass, beds and shrubs are soaked with clean water first so they do not take up the biocide.
